Fingerstyle Guitar

Fingerstyle Guitar or Solo Guitar is to play a song with both the chords and melody together.

You must have a good understanding of Guitar chords and how it is going to come together with the melody of the song.

For me, because of my Classical Guitar background, I am able to pick up a melody and add chords to it. This, I guess is where my strong point is.

As we progress from playing simple melodies and basic chords, I will teach you how to play the melody and chords together.

Advanced students of mine are pretty independent, in that they can figure out a melody and fill in the chords themselves.
